O Married Life!

A man and a woman who had never met before, but were both married to other people, found them assigned to the same sleeping room on a transcontinental train.

Though initially embarrassed and uneasy over sharing a room, they were both very tired and fell asleep quickly….him in the upper bunk and her in the lower.

At 1:00 AM, the man leaned over and gently woke the woman saying, “Ma’am, I’m sorry to bother you, but would you be willing to reach into the closet to get me a second blanket? I’m awfully cold.”

“I have a better idea,” she replied. “Just for tonight, let’s just pretend that we’re married.”

“Wow! That’s a great idea!” he exclaimed!

“Good,” she replied… “Get your own damn blanket.”

After a stunned moment of silence, he farted.

To enter at a chance to win the goodies you must either send me a fat quarter of owl fabric OR you may send me a 10×10 inch square quilt block with an owl that you have made on the quilt block. (EXAMPLES BELOW)

Step 2: Make a 10×10 inch quilt block with an owl on it or send 1 fat quarter of owl fabric. You choose which you would like to send.

Step 3: Send your fat quarter or quilt block to me with your name and flickr name attached to it so I will know who to enter into the drawing.

Step 4: Reply to this post that you have sent your item. When I receive it I will post here that it was received so you will know you are entered.

My bedroom is still a WIP also…

I’m getting so close to being finished with my bedroom! Yea! I just have to finish sanding and painting the bed.

What do you think about these stars? Are there way too many? They are above the bed.

Hopefully by next week I will be able to show you the whole room finished!

Birds of any kind are welcome here. Owls, blue birds, cardinals, hummingbirds, etc. I am mad about birds!

Sneak Peak

I have been a busy little bee lately. I am in the process of painting my bedroom, I am 99.9% done. I still have to finish painting my bed and then hang a few more things on the wall.

I’m obsessed with owls lately! I love them! I made this little guy out of paper to hang in the new room.

Tonight I will finish up the bed and show you the finished project.
